SRIVARI BRAHMOTSAVAMS

The annual Srivari Brahmotsavam festival celebrated in Tirumala Tirupati will be held from 15 September 2007 to 23 September 2007. Due to 'Adhika Masam' this year, there will be two Brahmotsavams - the Srivari Annual Brahmotsavams and the Navaratri Brahmotsavams. 'Ankurarpana' for the annual Brahmotsavams and 'Senadhipati Utsavam' will be conducted today (Septemer 14) .

Schedule for Annual Brahmotsavams 2007:

On September 15th

Evening: 4.15 pm to 4.39 pm - Dhwajarohanam (flag hoisting)

Night: 9 pm to 11 pm - Pedda Seshavahanam (vehicle in the shape of Adisesha)

On September 16th

Morning: 9 am to 11 am - Chinna Seshavahanam (small vehicle in the shape of Adisesha)

Night: 9 am to 11 pm - Hamsavahanam (vehicle shaped like swan)

On September 17th

Morning: 9 am to 11am - Simhavahanam, a vehicle in the shape of lion

Night: 9 pm to 11 pm - Mutayalapandiri Vahanam (a vehicle decorated with pearls)

On September 18th

Morning: 9 am to 11 am - Kalpavriksha Vahana (a vehicle in the shape of Kalpavriksham)

Night: 9 pm to 11 pm - Sarvabhoopala Vahanam (a vehicle symbolizing all the kings on the earth)
On September 19th

Morning: 9 am to 11 am - Mohini Avatarotsavam

Night: 9 pm to 11 pm - GarudaVahanam

On September 20th

Morning: 9 am to 11 am - Hanumad Vahanam (vehicle dedicated to Lord Hanuman)

Evening: 5 pm to 6 pm - Swarna Rathotsavam (Golden Chariot)

Night: 9 pm to 11 pm - Gaja Vahanam (vehicle in the shape of elephant)

Vasantotsavam (spring festival) is celebrated and there is no Unjal Seva on the day.

On September 21st

Morning: 9 am to 11 am- Suryaprabha Vahanam (vehicle shaped like the Sun chariot)

Night: 9 pm to 11 pm - Unjal Seva and Chandraprabha Vahanam (vehicle shaped like moon)

On September 22nd

Morning: 7 am - Rathotsavam

Night: 9 pm to 11 pm- Ashwa Vahanam (vehicle in the shape of horse)

On September 23rd

Early Morning: 3 am to 5 am - Pallaki Seva and Tirucchi Vutsavam

Morning: 6 am to 8 am - Chakrasnana Mahotsavam

Night: 7 pm to 9 pm - Dhwajavarohanam (Grauda flag will be lowered)
